What to expect from a Tarot Reading from Sea Star Tarot

So, what would you get if you purchased a tarot reading from me?  What does a tarot reading look like?  Pictured below is a simple reading about understanding a situation.

Let's say you asked me to help you understand why you can't seem to get the raise in pay you want.   You just can't figure out what to do about it and need some clarity.  I would shuffle my tarot deck with your question in mind and then draw 3 cards.  It would look something like this:

The cards would vary according to the question asked.  In this case the cards are saying that you don't have enough qualifying education/experience. (Fool), need to get more education (Hierophant), and once these steps are taken you will be able to move forward and negotiate for that raise!  (3 of Wands)

I would then send this to you online.

I hope you enjoyed this little demonstration!

Were You A Love Child?

Nostalgia

I'm having a 6 of Cups day!

Quite often when we think about love and romance, we recall our youth and the times when the notions of romance were just beginning to blossom. I found this newspaper clipping in a box that I was sorting recently.  These pictures are of a time that many of us remember fondly as the "Love Child" era. It was 1969 folks! See if you can find me in the picture. I was singing my heart out. What was the song you ask? Why, can't you guess?
"This is the dawning of the age of aquarius, age of aquari-u-us, aquarius, aquarius!!!"
"Let the sunshine, let the sunshine in, the su-un-shine i-in!"
Yes, we tore up that audience and got a standing ovation for this performance, but don't get me wrong, now. We weren't all love, light, and warm fuzzies - we did a mean version of Iron Butterfly, too!
"Da, da, da, dada da da, - da, da da , dada.  Are you with me?  Da, da, da...

Spring Is Coming!

Love Is In the Air!

It's February...  the month when Nature 'quickens' everything.  The Full Moon this month is called the "Quickening Moon" and even though up North it's still snowy and cold, Mother Earth stirs below the surface.  Spring is coming and the beginnings of new plants, animals, and human relationships are gearing up to take center stage.
Just look at those two in the picture. It certainly appears as though Cupid has bent his arrow in their direction!

In Tarot, this card can represent that 'love to end all loves' has entered your life, but it can also have other meanings depending upon the tarot card reading spread used and/or the questions asked.

For example, suppose I asked, "Will my broken ankle mend quickly?"

The Lovers card appears as the answer?

Hmmm...  What this tarot card would be trying to say is, "Sorry, but you will have to make a long-term commitment with your body here in order to heal well.  There are some choices to be made.  You might be tempted to skip out on physical therapy or that xray appointment to see how your bone is mending, but this could really impair your long-term outcome!

So, essentially when this tarot card comes up in a reading it generally symbolizes choices and commitments.  The caveat is that no tarot card meaning is set in stone.  Those of us who study and use tarot learn that we must tune in and often "intuit" what the tarot cards are trying to say.  This is why, for best outcome, it takes a skilled Tarot reader to interpret what the cards are trying to tell you.

I invite to join me at Sea Star Consultants where we can explore the solutions to your life issues with Tarot or by directly asking the spirits to guide us through my channeling skills.
